You can use your typical standard water bottles filled with different levels of water for this outdoor game for kids. Simply set the water bottle up like bowling pins. You can then have a inflatable rubber ball that children can use to try and knock down the pins. You could even use old tine cans or jugs. *Just be sure that the tin cans have all sharp edges taped for safety!* Variations to these Outdoor Games for Kids: You could use different size balls. You could also use different size plastic water bottles. Filling the watter bottles to different levels will make them easier or harder to knock over. This is a great outdoor game for kids in the spring, fall or summer. It keeps kids moving. However, the childrens game could be setup in a basement and you could have the children roll the ball to knock over the water bottles. You could even keep score by placing a point value to each bottle that gets knocked over. There are no shortage of ideas for outdoor games for kids & rainy day activities. Enjoy!
