You could also use different size plastic water bottles. Filling the watter bottles to different levels will make them easier or harder to knock over. This is a great outdoor game for kids in the spring, fall or summer. It keeps kids moving. However, the childrens game could be setup in a basement and you could have the children roll the ball to knock over the water bottles.
