Children for Charity ~ Animal Advocates

Through Blossom International’s Children for Charity program kids collected blankets, towels, paper towels, dog food, and rabbit bedding to the Humane Society’s Popcorn Park Zoo in Forked River, NJ. Kids then got a chance to tour the zoo and see the animals they were helping.

It depends on how severe it is. if it is really bad, you need to see an allergist and he will give you a plan of action. He may give you inhalers to take.

I’m a strong woman, a wife and mother, and I am a friend. I have a very full life. I stay at home with my four awesome little kiddos! I have two girls and two boys. Both my boys have disabilities. Whether I’m at the kids’ school volunteering, or running around to lessons and practices in the afternoon, I seem to always be on the go. I suppose this is the typical life of a mom, but I LOVE it! I always wanted to be a mother. I certainly didn’t imagine that my family would end up looking the way it does, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I grew up in southern Idaho and went to college in northern Utah, where I met my husband. After graduation, we married and moved to UNC Chapel Hill for graduate school. Next came Iowa, where we had our first baby. Ethan was born with cerebral palsy. We didn’t learn this until he was 6 months old. It was quite a blow. Up until that point, we thought we had a ‘perfect’ baby. But, we soon learned that he’d had a stroke in utero. This brought a host of issues, including mental disabilities and seizures. Through all of it, we have been so grateful for our faith in God, which has really helped us to deal with whatever challenges life brings. We have lived in Texas for 12 years now and love it!! Question by Regina V: How to prepare them to lie if Children Services come?
My daughters are 6 and 4 years old.There is no father around and of course no relatives of his side.My parents are dead and I don’t have brothers and sisters.My other relatives live in Europe.I don’t have enough money and till now I was working at home but it’s not enough.I’m going to get a real,well-paid job,but I want some advices how can I protect my children from Children Services?I don’t know what should I be afraid of more – robberies and killers or Children Services???So,my children are responsible and they won’t do nothing stupid or dangerous while I’m at work,because I have learned them what’s dangerous and what’s not.And don’t you worry about their childhood – they are very happy when they stay alone at home and they usually play dolls.So,help me,how should I prepare my children what to do and how to lie if Children Services come?

Why is Child Services coming in the first place?
Keep in mind they have a wealth of experience in these matter and may be able to see right through a lie, which works against you.

My baby is 7 months old with asthma or something like it (too young to tell, but I want to know if I should buy a cool mist humidifier to help him breath at night, cause he always wakes up coughing weather I do the nebulizer before bed or not. We use the nebulizer cause he always coughing, and there is a rattle in his chest, and he is always congested too. Will this help him? Also, what store can I get a small, cute, and inexpensive one for him? AND one more thing, If you have an experience with asthmatic children, can you give me ideas, clues, or any type of advice for me to help him or understand what is going on with him and stuff, cause I am not sure about it since I never experienced this with anyone or myself?

Take him to the doctor and get him tested for any thing he could be allergic too. Try asthma too. becasue its nothing to play with. Having asthma is dangerous if it goes unnoticed. get a breathing machine if he has asthma it will help him/her breathe better.
